Forking Drupal is a shortsighted approach to a long term problem. While I get the point it would be nice if there was something more intutive than the current builds of D8, there's a reason it's as complex as it is. Systems eventually reach a point of complexity in proportion to their usefulness. Backdrop will have the same problems one day if it is successful, or will be a waste of time if it's not. Surely there's a better solution here?
Formatting options
Basic
To post pieces of code, surround them with <code>...</code> tags. For PHP code, you can use <?php ... ?>, which will also color it based on syntax.
Web page addresses and email addresses turn into links automatically, unless the parent tag has the 'nolink' class.
Lines and paragraphs break automatically.
