It's hard to count all the people it's scaring for a lot of different reasons. Some of them are leaving (some have left already). Some are afraid to admit how much it scares them because they are "Drupal Experts" and feel their jobs may be at stake if they were to say it publicly. Let's turn it around, can you show data on how many people aren't scared by Drupal 8? Also, I was replying directly to Scott, who mentioned that it "scared the heck out of him" - so this isn't a scare tactic coming from me. It's coming directly from the community.
