We can certainly do a better job of cleaning up interfaces and making things easier to use (& understand). There has already been a lot of great work that has gone into Drupal 8. We'd like to continue that effort with Backdrop as well. Hopefully some of the time we're not spending re-architecting can go into some of these other areas of Drupal that also need some serious attention.
Formatting options
Basic
To post pieces of code, surround them with <code>...</code> tags. For PHP code, you can use <?php ... ?>, which will also color it based on syntax.
Web page addresses and email addresses turn into links automatically, unless the parent tag has the 'nolink' class.
Lines and paragraphs break automatically.
Allowed HTML tags: <a> <em> <strong> <blockquote> <code> <ul> <ol> <li> <div> <p> <br> <pre> <h2> <h3> <h4> <h5> <figure> <img> <figcaption> <hr>
