Nice article about Managing Backdrop CMS config files in Git. It helped me a lot. I am really seraching for some kind of tutorials like this. I think it is most important for a web developer to learn Git. If we understand what Git is and the fundamentals of how it works, then using Git effectively will probably be much easier for us I think. The major difference between Git and any other VCS (Subversion and friends included) is the way Git thinks about its data. Conceptually, most other systems store information as a list of file-based changes. These systems (CVS, Subversion, Perforce, Bazaar, and so on) think of the information they keep as a set of files and the changes made to each file over time.
Formatting options
Basic
To post pieces of code, surround them with <code>...</code> tags. For PHP code, you can use <?php ... ?>, which will also color it based on syntax.
Web page addresses and email addresses turn into links automatically, unless the parent tag has the 'nolink' class.
Lines and paragraphs break automatically.
